Team Ciclos UnoTeam Ciclos Uno who are also staff members: Trevor Maddern is proprieter of Ciclos Uno and races all kinds of bikes in time trials, road races and on the track. In 1976 he was part of the team holding tricycle competion record at 10 miles, in 1996 and 2001 took Bronze at the World Masters Sprint in Manchester. He has had over 500 wins during his career.
Ewan Hendon competes primarily in time trials. He was tandem '25' competition record holder (with Les Palmer) at 46' 44'' set on 27th September 1998. His latest saying is "the older I get, the faster I was"!!!! James Jackson Shop Assistant Extraorindaire ;) Current fast man of Ciclos Uno... Good Luck In 2008... Other team members Alex Aldham-Breary well what can we say National Championships galore in 2004 & hopefully in 2005! He is making a come back after an accident in the little known Majorcan banister sliding championships!! Competes in road, track and time trials and is a winner in all catogories. Alya Jenns definately our youngest and most enthusiastic team member aged 9!! Competes all over the country in road events and time trials. In 2004 she was Best All Rounder (BSCA) under 8 Champ! Watch out for this girl in 2008! David Baker is an Elite BCF licence holder and has represented Great Britain many times including the 1990 Commonwealth Games in Auckland Dean Lubin a new member of the Ciclos Uno time trial specialist team for 2005! Bring it on Dean we all can't wait to see what you can do! Elliot Storey Elliot recently joined us back in March 2005 and recommends Ciclos Uno as a top club for developing young riders. So far this season he has had 10 wins and several other top placings in Uno colours! Elliot currently is ranked 3rd in the British Cycling Rankings. He hopes this season to place top 5 in the National Series and top 3 in the rankings overall. His hopes are to get onto the talent team, progress to a good standard at junior level before he goes off to win the Tour de France! Eric Marsh Eric is most prolific of winners and not at all concious of being 74; he regularly beats riders 1/4 of his age. Not many weeks go by without Eric beating some record or another and he has probably lost count of the number of his victories. 2001 he was VTTA National 3-distance BAR, best on Standard at 25 and 50 miles, 2nd in 2000 National 10. He broke 4 national records. Kevin Gill A member mid-way through 2005 and what an addition to the team! Check out this CV. More records than HMV! Kirk Jenns National Hill Climb Champion, Under 16 BSCA National Road Race Champion at Eastway in 2004 plus so many other wins and top placings we just dont have the space!! Currently riding well in 2005 both here and in Belgium. Also races track and time trials. Murat Ozdenya Multipal time trial wins in 2004 including several 19 minute 10's!! And still going like a train in 2008. Simon Smythe competes mainly in time trials. Part of the SPOCO SE winning team in 2004. 3rd place in National Time Trial Champs (in his age group) 2004 and looking forward to a fast 2005.
